On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Northern Authority, I remind all people in Manitoba to respect the family as the fundamental unit of society. Without strong families society breaks down. All families in Manitoba must be supported for a healthier society.

Bright Future

First Nation people in Manitoba have a unique status in society and a unique history. Our journey has been painful at times but a brighter future lies ahead of all people in Manitoba. The Northern Authority provides for greater responsibility that we must exercise wisely as First Nation people governments and agencies.

We are confident that the new Board of Directors reflects a well balanced mix of former and new Directors that will continue to build on the foundational work of the previous three years and strive to accomplish the strategic vision of the Northern Authority.
