About Us
The First Nations of Northern Manitoba Child and Family Services Authority is often referred to as the “Northern Authority”. On November 24, 2003, legislation was proclaimed by the Government of Manitoba that established 4 Authorities to oversee and coordinate the delivery of child and family services throughout the province of Manitoba.
The Northern Authority is committed to the well-being of our children, families and communities and to respecting our people’s traditions and cultures.
